今回は、おおしろキッズ英語教室のオールイングリッシュ環境の中で、より楽しく学び、成長していくためのアドバイス第2回です。

前回ご紹介した最初のアドバイスは、

でした。

今回は2つ目のアドバイスです。

2. よく聞くこと

おおしろキッズ英語教室のオールイングリッシュ環境では、多くの場面で生徒のみなさんが英語で発言する機会があります。そのような場面では、先生が必要な英語表現を教えてくれます。先生の言葉をしっかり聞くことで、スムーズにやり取りができるようになります。

また、クラスメートはみなさんより先に同じような場面を経験しているかもしれません。ほかの生徒がどのような言葉を使っているのか注意深く聞くことも、とても大切です。なぜなら、自分が同じ場面になったときに、何を言えばよいのかが分かるようになるからです。

前回の「よく見ること」と今回の「よく聞くこと」は、どちらもとても大切なポイントです。先生やクラスメートをよく見て、よく聞くことで、オールイングリッシュ環境にも自然に慣れ、自信を持って参加できるようになるでしょう。

My Advice for New Students ②

Here is my second blog post offering advice to students who want to feel successful in Oshiro Kids' all-English environment.

My first piece of advice was:

1. Watch the teacher and your classmates carefully.

The second piece of advice is:

2. Listen carefully.

Most situations in the all-English environment at Oshiro Kids encourage students to say something. In these situations, the teacher will provide new students with the English expression they need. For this transfer of language to happen smoothly, you need to use your ears.

Your classmates may have already experienced a situation that requires students to say something. Listening carefully to what other students say is a smart strategy because it will help you know what to say too.

These first two pieces of advice are highly valuable. Watching and listening carefully will certainly contribute to your feelings of success in the all-English environment at Oshiro Kids.
