僕からの4つ目、そして最後のアドバイスは、おおしろキッズ英語教室に新しく入った子どもたちだけでなく、すべての子どもたちへのアドバイスです。

教室では、できるだけ自分の英語を使いましょう！

おおしろキッズ英語教室の教室環境は、英語力の高い・低いに関係なく、子どもたちが毎週、自分の英語を**「使う」**機会を持てるように作られています。

僕は日頃から、英語でコミュニケーションを取ることが必要になる場面を子どもたちにたくさん用意しています。新しく入った子どもたちは、そのような場面で必要な英語をまだ知らないのは当然です。そのような時には、僕が必ず使うべき英語を教えます。そして、その英語をぜひ覚えようと努力してほしいと思っています。なぜなら、まったく同じような場面は必ずまたやって来るからです。そのたびに子どもたちは自信をつけ、実際に使える英語を少しずつ増やしていきます。この積み重ねが何度も繰り返されることで、本当の英語力が育っていきます。

僕は、おおしろキッズ英語教室に**「なぜ通っているのか」を理解している子どもたちほど、この環境の恩恵を大きく受けられると強く感じています。子どもたちが「英語を学ぶため」ではなく、「英語を使うためにここへ来ている」**という意識を持ち、その意識と僕が用意するさまざまな教室での場面が組み合わさることで、実際に使える英語力は大きく伸びていくのです。

My Advice for New Students ④

My fourth and final piece of advice is for all students—not just those who are new to Oshiro Kids English School: Use YOUR English in the classroom whenever you can!

The classroom environment is designed to give students, regardless of their current level, a weekly opportunity to USEtheir English.

I regularly place students in situations where communicating in English is necessary. New students naturally won't yet know the English they need in these situations, so I always provide them with the language they need to use. I encourage students to make a real effort to remember this English because I can guarantee that the exact same situation will come up again! Each time it does, students become more confident and increase the amount of English they can actually use. This process repeats itself again and again.

I strongly believe that students who understand why they are attending Oshiro Kids English School benefit the most from its unique environment. When students realize that they are here to USE their English, that understanding—combined with the classroom situations I create—helps them develop their practical English ability dramatically.
