英語を「使い」ながら、新しい語彙や表現を「練習」しています。

「練習」と「使う」には大きな違いがあります。

練習だけしていても、必要な時に使えなかったらただの知識で終わってしまいます。練習して覚えることが目的ではないのです。

「いつか使う」の「いつ」はいつなのでしょうか？
「いつ」を「今」にすることが大事なのです。

毎回のレッスンでは、子どもたちか自ら英語を使わなくてはいけない機会をたくさん提供しています。

At Oshiro Kids English School we both “Practice” and “Use” English.

We use English to practice English.

The long term goal is to have our students become able and willing to use English, so we provide this opportunity for them every lesson.

Those students who understand this goal, and understand WHY they come to Oshiro Kids make progress very quickly.

And this what makes Oshiro Kids English School very different from other English schools. We have a clear understanding of the difference between “practice” and “use”. This distinction is very rare in other schools.

And this too is why our lessons are fun; “using English” is simply more fun than “practicing English”!
